Science Oxford’s public engagement programme includes Family Days in our Science Oxford Centre every Saturday and regular science and creative computing clubs.

The Centre is open every Saturday for our Family Days, which offer a unique family experience. You can explore, discover and play in the Exploration Zone, where children and grown-ups alike have fun experimenting with the interactive exhibits. And you can explore trails in our 15 acres of woodland surrounding the Centre.

We also run a series of Saturday Clubs at the Science Oxford Centre for young people aged 5–12. Our monthly clubs include Saturday Science Club (also in Abingdon), Nature Lab for ages 5–9 and Creative Computing Club for ages 9–12. Our clubs give children the opportunity to try out science-inspired creative activities from coding to crafting.
