The Oxford Trust has a busy programmes of activity across three core areas: innovation, education and public engagement. Our team currently consists of 26 full- and part-time staff.
We are based at the Wood Centre for Innovation in Headington, which is also home to the Science Oxford Centre.

Director of Science Education and Engagement
The Oxford Trust’s new Director of Science Education and Engagement will hold responsibility for the delivery of the Education and Public Engagement programme. This includes the management of all staff within the programme as well as budgets and resource planning. The post-holder will be expected to develop a regional network that supports the delivery of the Oxford Trust’s mission. They will also need to be visible internally as part of the organisation’s leadership team, making a personal contribution to the overall success of the Trust.
Applicants should be passionate about science education and the impact that it has on society and the environment. A sound understanding of education and delivery related to STEM will be required as will strong leadership and management qualities.

Science Oxford Centre Officer
The Oxford Trust is looking to increase its Science Oxford Centre team to support the on-site delivery of primary school programming and some public openings. This enjoyable and varied role is available part-time or full-time, to deliver engaging and exciting experiences to visiting school groups between Tuesdays to Fridays and to oversee public family visits on one Saturday per month. Full training will be provided. If you have experience and/or an interest in science, and enjoy engaging with young people and families, this could be the role for you.
Rate of pay: from £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
